This is an older photo that I wasn't too happy with initially, but have since revisited and decided to post. It's a somewhat minimalistic shot of a staircase running up the side of a fuel storage tank in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. This is roughly a 75% crop from a much larger image.
Location of photograph: [link] Daily DeviationGiven 2007-10-01205 by *tfavretto - This is a remarkable photograph! The stairs entwining the fuel tank are almost escher-esque; how they magically become inverted towards the lower steps. The words make it all the more interesting; to me, almost a bit conceptual. And how the steps loom into the darkness is quite intriguing. Conclusively, the horizontal lines are there to help orchestrate the photography.
