The sun sets next to the "Bernt Gilbertson Bridge", which connects St. Joseph Island to the mainland, roughly 50 km southeast of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. The bridge was constructed in 1972, and provided the first road link to the second largest freshwater island in the world.
