A piece of driftwood sits on the shoreline as the sun sets over the St. Mary's River at Sunnyside Beach, just west of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. I don't recall if the tilt on this shot was intentional or not, but for some reason I prefer this tilted version over other similar shots I had with straight horizons.
i like the other shot better i think, the backgound isn't as blury, and i think it's composed better. plus i find the crooked horizon a little distracting in this shot..
Well, the blur and the tilt were intentional to try something a bit different from regular straight-up landscape photography. After shooting enough scenes like this one, I guess I started to get bored of taking the same approach over and over again, so I experimented a little, and I'm happy with the result.
Hope it's OK
