Artist's Comments

Inspired by the work of =RichAllen, I experimented a bit with photographing drops of water on a clear plastic surface suspended over a box with a diamond pattern on it.

This is something that I've been meaning to try more of, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'd like to try using some different patterns in the background, as well as finding a clean sheet of clear plastic to place the water on instead of using a slightly scratched-up CD case, as I did here.
