Leading lines are one of my weak points, I simply cannot resist them. :)

I adore the darkened effect around the corners, would you mind enlightening me as to how you achieved this?

Your work is a true inspiration.

For most of my photos, I like to add a bit of a vignette by making a few passes around the edges of the photo with the burn tool in Photoshop using successively smaller brush sizes. I've found that it can really add a lot of impact to pretty much any photo.

Completely perfect harmony - black and white works so well here and I know that many have taken similar shots; but this one just is 101%.

^^ I like the black-and-white effect of this one, plus the way the jetty just stops midway. =D

Beautiful details on the ground... is that blur around a post process?

:icontfavretto:
tfavretto Featured By Owner Feb 18, 2007
Thanks. Yes, I added a bit of a blur vignette in post-processing. Not sure why, but I just like the way it looks for some b&w photos.

nice nice!!!

prpbably needed a bit more ND filter cause the water is in a blurry state not too smooth not too sharp!!

:icontfavretto:
tfavretto Featured By Owner Feb 18, 2007
Thanks. I had a circular polarizer and my only ND filter on, and was shooting at the lowest ISO and smallest aperture on my camera, so I was doing the longest exposure possible given the conditions.
